Captain J put us on the fish immediately and we were worn out from reeling in so many trophies by the end of the day. Captain J was laid back, but all business when it came to fishing. He made sure that his passengers were enjoying their experience and always included us in decisions on where to fish and when to move. The boat was gorgeous and had all the bells and whistles that an angler could ask for and the gear was top notch. My friend said that it was the best day of fishing that he ever had and I’d have to agree. When we got back to the dock, we were the envy of other captains as we unloaded our haul. We went fishing with Captain J to celebrate my oldest son’s birthday. Captain J was very knowledgeable about where to find fish and within 30 mins of leaving the dock, we were catching fish pretty much every time we casted our rods! The wife and kids were loving it! Captain J was very helpful in explaining fishing techniques to the kids so they could catch as many fish as they could. We then went further offshore to try our luck with some bigger fish! We were still catching fish when we hooked a huge sailfish! It jumped out of the water a few times before it took off with some line and broke it. Although I didn’t land the fish, I had a great time fighting it. The fishing trip was a great time for the entire family and I would definitely go fishing again with Captain J! He truly wants you to have a great time fishing and goes above and beyond to make sure you will have a good time!

Crazy day offshore. Captain Jose had a heck of a game plan laid out. We loaded up on bait, got into some Cobia, trolled and got a Mahi, snagged some Snapper and Grouper off the bottom and finally tried live lining for Kings on the way back. Would’ve had tons of meat if a couple were in season! We got broken off by plenty of sharks and Jose was quick to keep all lines rigged back up. Also brought in a 6’ shark. Awesome day, we’ll be back.
